Pokrova Extra 100 ml
Pokrova Extra, 100 ml - a highly effective post-emergence herbicide for protecting carrots, potatoes, vegetables, industrial crops, and other crops from annual dicotyledonous and grass weeds. The product controls over 300 weed species and eliminates them as early as 7 days after application, without harming the treated crop or the environment. The product performs excellently under adverse weather conditions and rainfall.
Product BenefitsFormulation: suspension concentrate.
Active ingredient: promethrin 500 g/L.
Chemical class of the active ingredient: triazines.
Compatibility with other pesticides. Pokrova Extra is compatible in tank mixtures with most herbicides used during the same period on the corresponding crops. However, in each specific case, the compatibility of the products being mixed should be verified.
Duration of protection: 10–12 weeks.
Speed of action. The herbicide destroys weeds at the moment of germination when applied pre-emergence or within 4–7 days when applied post-emergence.
Application procedure. The cleanliness of the tank, main lines, and nozzles, as well as the serviceability of the entire sprayer, must be checked before beginning the application. Then, determine the volume and uniformity of water flow through the nozzles and compare it with the calculated data for working fluid consumption per hectare. Spraying is performed in the morning or evening hours in calm weather, preventing drift of the product onto neighboring crops. The application rate depends on the soil texture and potential weed infestation. On light soils, apply Pokrov Extra at low application rates; on heavy (high-humus) soils, increase the application rate to the maximum. Do not perform inter-row cultivation after applying the product—this will reduce its herbicidal effect. In dry soil conditions, shallow incorporation to a depth of 2–3 cm is recommended—this will ensure more reliable weed control. After finishing work with the product, thoroughly rinse the sprayer and spraying equipment.
Procedure for preparing the spray mixture. Fill 1/4–1/2 of the sprayer tank with clean water. While stirring, add the calculated and measured amount of the product and continue filling the sprayer tank while stirring. If Pokrova Extra is used in a tank mix with other products, add the products to the water in the sprayer tank in the following order: Dissolve Pokrova Extra in the sprayer tank first, each subsequent component is added after the previous one has completely dissolved. The working solution must be used within a few hours after preparation. Continue stirring during application to ensure the uniformity of the working mixture.
