Application:

First, carefully clear out any burrows found belonging to rodent pests. Take the cartridges with fuses already installed from the package, light the fuse, and lower it into the burrow. As soon as the cartridge begins to burn steadily, push it 15–25 cm deeper into the burrow using a long object and cover it with soil, without blocking the burrow’s oxygen supply. As it burns, the cartridge will emit smoke and a smell that is very unpleasant to moles; this odor will spread throughout all the mole tunnels and linger in the burrows for a long time, leading to the death of the rodents.     

Dead moles are usually out of reach for humans. Their death is indicated by undisturbed molehills and the absence of new mounds of soil.
