Full description
Osotin - a herbicide for controlling root-sprouting weeds. It is used to control problematic annual dicotyledonous and perennial root-sprouting weeds.
Active ingredient: clopyralid 750 g/kg
Formulation: water-dispersible granules
Packaging: 2 g.
Spectrum of activity:
Weeds sensitive to the product: yellow and pink thistles, sweet chamomile (field), common dandelion, plantain, lettuce, bittercress (species), dog’s romaine, chamomile (species), blue cornflower, chickweed, clover, field pea, birch-leaved bittercress, etc. Plants resistant to the herbicide: all types of grass weeds, corn, sorghum, flax, beets, onions, plants of the Brassicaceae family (rapeseed, cabbage, turnip, mustard, etc.)
Recommendations for use:
Dissolve 2 g (the contents of the package) in 3–5 liters of water and treat 100 square meters of crop. Use clean water to prepare the working solution. Ensure even coverage of the plants. The optimal air temperature during spraying is between +10 and +23 °C. The most effective time for application is during the phase of intensive weed growth (thistles in the rosette phase, no taller than 20 cm). Use only freshly prepared solution!

Application guidelines
Spraying should be carried out during the crop’s growing season. The working solution must be used within a few hours of preparation. To achieve maximum effectiveness, ensure sufficient and uniform coverage of the above-ground parts of the plants. The most effective application period is the phase of intensive weed growth (thistles in the rosette phase, no more than 20 cm tall). Favorable conditions for using the product include warm weather with sufficient air and soil moisture. The optimal air temperature is between +10 and +23 °C.
Compatibility
The product is well compatible with the insecticides Molniya, Svyatogor, Ratibor, Zhukomor, and Eney; the herbicides Zernodar, Oberig, Oberig Grand, Luch, Khlebodar, Tsukrovik, and Chistets; fungicides Amulet, Istok, Volshebnik; and South African Siyanie. If there are doubts regarding compatibility with another product, we recommend conducting a preliminary test.
Useful Tips
Products containing the active ingredient clopyralid can be applied at temperatures of 5–6 °C, but the weeds being treated must be vegetative (in the active growth stage). Application at low temperatures does not affect the product’s efficacy but only slightly delays the onset of weed death. Rainfall 2 hours after application of the herbicide Osotin does not affect its effectiveness. Weeds stop growing almost immediately after treatment. Visible symptoms of damage appear on the 4th–7th day (depending on weather conditions and the weeds’ species-specific sensitivity to the product). Complete death occurs within 10–20 days.
Warning!
Manual work on crops should be performed no earlier than 7 days after treatment, and mechanized work no earlier than 3 days after treatment. Toxicity class 3. Recommended storage temperature: 0 ... +25 °C.
WHEN USING, follow safety rules for working with pesticides!
Store in a tightly closed container with a label in a dry, cool place, out of reach of children and away from food products.
Guaranteed shelf life: 5 years from the date of manufacture
