Full description
Common Boletus (Suillus)

A genus of bolete mushrooms in the Boletaceae family. The common boletus gets its name from its oily, slippery cap. Characteristic features that distinguish most Suillus species from other boletes include a sticky, slimy cap skin that peels off easily and a ring that has opened from the partial veil.

1 package of grain mycelium is designed for 2.5 m².

Growing oyster mushrooms in a home garden.
For the mushrooms, you need to set aside a shaded area of 2.5–3 m², where you should dig a small pit 30 cm deep and fill it with a nutrient mixture.
First layer (laid on the bottom of the pit) – fallen leaves, grass, sawdust, or wood bark (10 cm).
2nd layer – manure compost or soil collected from under trees (10 cm).
Then spread the grain mycelium evenly over the entire area.
Third layer - plant debris again, as in the first layer, but only 3 cm thick.
Fourth layer - garden soil (3-5 cm).

After sowing, moisten using a drip method. In dry weather and high temperatures, moisten as needed both before the mushrooms appear and during their growth.
The first mushrooms will appear in 1.5–2 months, then they will appear every 1–1.5 weeks. In the open field, they grow from May until late fall. The mycelium can live up to 5 years.

Indoors, you can try to grow these mushrooms using the same method as for button mushrooms, but the results will be significantly worse than in the open field, and the germination rate will also be lower.
Mushrooms grow at temperatures ranging from 5 to 30 °C, with an optimal temperature of 12 to 26 °C. Mushrooms do not have a growing season, so they can be grown at any time of year.
Attention! Soil acidity is a very important factor for successful mushroom cultivation. The optimal pH range is 6.5–7. More acidic soil (lower pH) must be deacidified by watering with a solution of quicklime (100 g of lime per 5 L of water per 1 m²).

The mycelium has a shelf life of 5–7 years. Store in a dry place. The date of manufacture is indicated on the packaging.
