Etrel 5 ml

Etrel 480 SL, 5 mL vial.
Active ingredient: 480 g of ethephon (2-chloroethylphosphonic acid), a plant growth and development regulator in the form of a water-soluble concentrate.
Once absorbed by the plant through the leaves, Etrel actively moves toward the roots. Inside the plant, it breaks down, releasing ethylene and phosphoric acid. The rate of decomposition depends on the ambient temperature. Ethylene is a gas released by ripe tomatoes. When it penetrates green fruits, it accelerates their ripening. Derivatives of 2-chloroethylphosphonic acid are known: hydrel and dexrel, which possess the same
properties.
Method of application and dosage:
The product is used to accelerate the ripening of tomatoes, improve the ripening and mechanical harvesting of cherries and red currants, and accelerate the harvesting and improve the color of apples.
Dosage:
Tomatoes: Dissolve the contents of the ampoule (5 mL) in 1–2 L of water to treat 20 m². This dose is intended for temperatures below 16°C or for plants with a large number of leaves. Spray the entire plant thoroughly. Apply once when fruit maturity reaches 5–15%. Using this product accelerates fruit ripening by 10 days. The yield increase is 30%.
