Full description

Boverin, 200 g - a biological product for controlling insect pests of the plant root system

Boverin, 200 g - a ready-to-use bait for controlling:

  • cabbage root maggots, wireworms, and May beetle larvae on vegetable crops (potatoes, tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplants, etc.), flowers, and berries (strawberries, raspberries, currants, etc.)
  • bait for controlling garden ants in garden beds, under trees and shrubs, in greenhouses, and near buildings.

Application:

The package contents are sufficient to treat 5–8 acres.

Mole crickets (caterpillars, cabbage grubs) — place 2–4 g (0.5 teaspoon) of bait in their burrows and tunnels at a depth of 3–5 cm and a distance of 0.5–0.7 m. After placing the bait, compact the entrance. Moisten dry soil

THE FIRST TREATMENT should be carried out 5–10 days before sowing seeds or planting seedlings; the second treatment should be performed if mole cricket tunnels reappear, during the mole cricket breeding season (May–June). If there is a high concentration of pests, apply the product at a different time. The protective effect lasts 10–14 days

NOTE: In areas infested with mole crickets, do not fertilize plants with fresh mullein—it will attract the pest from the surrounding area. Diluted bird droppings, on the other hand, repel mole crickets (water the soil with a chicken manure infusion during dry weather).

TO CONTROL GARDEN ANTS: REMOVE the top layer (2–3 cm) of soil from the anthill and, depending on its size, evenly scatter 5–8 g (1 teaspoon) of bait over the surface.

If ants are found near buildings, apply the bait to their gathering spots and along their trails. Cover the application site with soil or cover it with plywood, roofing felt, etc.

The ants will disappear from the anthill in 2–4 days. The product remains effective against ants for 2–3 months. Application rate for  agriculture: 1–3 kg/ha.

May beetles: Place 2–4 g (0.5 tsp) of bait in the tunnels and burrows of May beetles at a depth of 3–5 cm and a distance of 0.5–0.7 m. After placing the bait, compact the entrance and cover it. Moisten dry soil with water.

First application 5–10 days before planting; second application as needed (May–June) during the mole cricket breeding season.
