Acetal 100 ml

Acetal 900 SC, 100 ml - a pre-emergence soil herbicide for the control and destruction of annual grass and broadleaf weeds in sunflower, corn, and other crops.

Formulation and active ingredient: emulsion concentrate containing acetochlor, 900 g/L.

Residual efficacy period:

The residual efficacy period for acetochlor averages about 60 days. This period depends on certain factors and conditions of application:

• moisture content of the topsoil;
• uniformity of spray distribution;
• application depth of no more than 5 cm;
• time of crop emergence;
• shading of the planted areas.

Mode of action:

The active ingredient is acetochlor, which is absorbed by weeds primarily through their shoots and root system. It inhibits protein synthesis in weeds. The product takes effect immediately after application and remains active throughout the growing season.

Application conditions: Apply before sowing the crop or before crop emergence. Spray with a freshly prepared solution on weeds during the growing season, but no later than 3–5 days before sowing or crop emergence, in calm, dry weather. Do not apply if precipitation is expected within 2–3 hours. The optimal application temperature is no lower than 15°C.

The product is low-toxic to warm-blooded animals and bees.
