Orange Ant Powder 50 g

Contact insecticide for controlling garden ants, soil gnats, and fungus gnats. 

To control garden ants in garden beds and greenhouses: remove the top layer (2–3 cm) of soil from the anthill and, depending on its size, evenly spread 1–3 g of the product over the surface. If ants are found near buildings, apply the product in areas where insects congregate and along their paths. Cover the application site with soil or cover it with plywood, roofing felt, etc. The ants will disappear from the anthill within 2–4 days. 

The product remains effective for 2–3 months. 

The package contents are sufficient to treat 15–25 m². 

To control soil gnats: apply the product once when gnats appear; these gnats are found in the soil of potted plants and in the soil of flower and vegetable seedlings. Application rate: 2–3 g per 1 m² of area. Spread the powder evenly over the soil surface around the plants, work it into the soil to a depth of 1–2 cm, or cover with soil. For flower seedlings, apply the treatment 20 days before transplanting the plants into the ground. There is no waiting period for potted flower plants. Pest mortality is observed 3–5 days after application (treatment). 

The product’s protective effect lasts for more than 3 months. 

Ecology: The product is not phytotoxic. Moderately hazardous to humans and animals (Hazard Class 3). Hazardous to birds; prevent poultry from ingesting the product. 

Precautions: Store separately from medicines and food in a dark place, out of reach of children and animals, at a temperature between -10°C and 35°C. Treatment should be carried out in the absence of children and animals. Wear protective clothing, gloves, a respirator, and goggles. Do not smoke, drink, or eat while working. After work, wash your face and hands with soap and rinse your mouth. First aid: If the product comes into contact with the eyes or skin, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water. If accidentally swallowed, drink several glasses of water and induce vomiting; then drink several glasses of water with activated charcoal (4–5 tablets) and seek medical attention immediately. Antidote: atropine; additionally, cholinesterase reactivators. 

Product composition: active ingredients: chlorpyrifos 0.05%, fipronil 0.05%, sugar, attractant, inert filler.
