Application:

Proper placement of the bait is the key to success. To determine where to place the bait, identify the animal’s main path using a metal rod. Carefully rotate the rod to create a hole, then drop a teaspoon (10–15 g) of the toxic substance into it so that it falls to the bottom of the tunnel. Then cover the hole with soil to conceal it. You can place a waterproof pipe with a diameter of at least 5 cm so that the mole can move freely, and place the bait inside it.

Check the area after 2–3 days. If the bait has been eaten, add more; if it is covered with soil, cut open the molehill in a different spot.

Dead moles are usually out of reach for humans. Unopened molehills and the absence of fresh mounds of soil indicate their death or migration to another area.
