Actofit – a biological product for controlling mites, aphids, thrips, and leaf-eating caterpillars on vegetable, fruit, and flower crops, as well as houseplants.

Actofit is safe for humans and other warm-blooded animals.

Actofit is a contact and stomach poison, but it also has a negative effect on egg-laying. Insects hatching from these eggs are stunted, which quickly leads to the destruction of even such hard-to-eradicate populations as plant-eating mites.

Actofit controls the vast majority of pests in vegetable plantations, orchards, gardens, and vineyards. A single application provides primary protection against pests. No resistance to the product has been observed.

Mechanism of action of Actofit: 
The product is highly effective against a wide range of pests in open and protected fields: herbivorous mites, Colorado potato beetles, other leaf-feeding Coleoptera, larvae of Lepidoptera and sawflies, open-sitting aphids, thrips, and some species of leaf miners. The active ingredient of the product is a complex of natural avermectins produced by the soil fungus Streptomyces avermitilis. Avermectins are natural, highly specific neurotoxins that, in microdoses, penetrate the bodies of arthropod pests via the gut or by contact, irreversibly damage their nervous system.
Unlike most insecticides, which rapidly degrade due to high air temperatures and, even more so, sunlight, — Actofit works significantly more effectively under high temperatures, which at temperatures of 25 degrees and above allows for a 30% reduction in the application rate without losing effectiveness. 

The uniqueness of Actofit.
It is virtually the only insecticide that can protect indoor flowers from pests without having to remove them from the living room. 

Bathing pets in a solution of the product will rid them of insects and skin parasites. Licking their fur after such a bath will not harm the animal but will eliminate many worms.

As a biological product, in a non-sterile environment, Actofit breaks down within hours by microorganisms into natural products found in the natural environment. However, in its original factory packaging, the product retains its properties for at least 2 years, unaffected by freezing temperatures in winter or the hot air of storage facilities in summer.

Actofit can be applied during the harvest period on vegetable and fruit and berry crops. The last treatment should be applied 48 hours before harvest.
