Actellik, KE - a non-systemic organophosphate insecticide and acaricide with stomach and contact action; due to its fumigant properties and persistence on inert surfaces, it is used to protect storage facilities and grain stocks during storage from a complex of storage pests.Active ingredient: 500 g/L pirimiphos-methyl.
Formulation: emulsion concentrate.
Chemical group: organophosphorus compounds.
Product purpose
Intended for the protection of open-field and protected-field crops against a complex of leaf-feeding and sucking pests (aphids, scale insects, thrips, weevils, whitefly, mites, etc.).
Actellik combines the properties of an organophosphate insecticide and an acaricide. It is used to control a wide range of pests, including mites.
Mode of action
Contact and stomach action, pronounced fumigant activity, and translaminar distribution of the product within the leaf allow for the control of pests inhabiting the underside of the leaf.
Protection period
2–3 weeks for field and plantation crops (depending on weather conditions, application timing, agricultural practices for the treated crop, and pest species); 7–14 days for vegetable and ornamental crops grown in protected soil; up to 8–12 months for controlling stored product pests.
