Aktarofit 1 L
Biological insecticide and acaricide for controlling pests of agricultural, ornamental, vegetable, and fruit and berry crops: Colorado potato beetle, aphids, thrips, cabbage looper, cutworms, fruit borers, mites, codling moth, leaf miner, and other pests. An insecticide based on natural avermectins, the product does not harm treated plants or beneficial insects, allowing it to be applied during the flowering period. The product provides long-lasting protection and eliminates insects 24 hours after application.
Aktarofit ENZIM Agro is an effective biotechnological contact insecticide and acaricide for controlling pests of agricultural, ornamental, forest, and fruit and berry crops: Colorado potato beetles, aphids, thrips, cabbage loopers, cutworms, fruit borers, mites, codling moths, leafminers, and other pests.
The active ingredient in Aktarofit ENZIM Agro is a complex of natural avermectins of groups B1 and B2, produced by the beneficial soil fungus Streptomyces avermitilis—these are potent, specific neurotoxins that, upon entering the insect’s body via ingestion or contact, irreversibly damage their nervous system. As a result, paralysis sets in and the insects die.
The first signs of the product’s action—cessation of feeding—are observed after 6–8 hours for leaf-feeding pests and after 12–16 hours for sucking pests. Mass mortality occurs 2–3 days after treatment, and maximum efficacy is reached on the 5th–7th day. The product’s protective effect lasts up to 10–20 days.
When used at recommended rates, Aktarofit ENZIM Agro is non-toxic to ladybugs, spiders, predatory bugs, parasitic lepidoptera, ants, ground beetles, and earthworms.
The ability of avermectins to break down rapidly in the environment prevents their accumulation in seeds, fruits, vegetables, and soil. Therefore, Aktarofit is applied to vegetable and fruit and berry crops 48 hours before harvest.
