Red Ball Beet – an early-maturing variety – 80–100 days. The root is round, the flesh is dark red with a purple tint, very juicy, tender, and sweet. Stores well. Yield: 3–5 kg/m². Used in home cooking and for dietary nutrition. Suitable for bunching. Sown from April to June depending on the growing purpose. When sown late (June 1–10), the roots store better in winter.
Soil temperature for seed germination should not be lower than 5 °C.
