Ataman Beet - a mid-late high-yielding variety, maturing in 132–150 days. The root is cylindrical, dark red, 4–7 cm in diameter, smooth, with a pointed tip, and is easily harvested from the soil. The flesh is dark red, juicy, without light rings, tender, sweet, and very tasty. Root weight is 230–370 g. Excellent flavor. Yield is 3.2–5.8 kg/m2. Recommended for winter storage, processing, and fresh consumption. Requires particular moisture during seed germination, root formation, and growth.
