Oak Bordeaux Lettuce – an early-maturing leaf lettuce variety with decorative leaf coloration. The growing season lasts 45–55 days. The plant forms a compact rosette 20–25 cm tall with wavy burgundy-red leaves resembling oak leaves in shape. The leaves are tender, juicy, and have a pleasant sweet taste without any bitterness.
The variety is resistant to bolting, grows well both in open ground and in greenhouses, and withstands short-term cold spells. Oak Bordeaux lettuce is used for fresh consumption, in salads, as a side dish, and for garnishing dishes. Thanks to the bright color and decorative appearance of its leaves, this variety gives dishes an attractive look.
