"Nizhyn Local" Cucumber Seeds, 5 g.
Mid-late season - 60 days. The plant is long-vining. The fruit is elongated-ovoid, dark green, 9–13 cm long, 3.5–5 cm in diameter, weighing 90–140 g, with a bumpy surface. Yield 2.2–3.5 kg/m². Moisture-demanding and relatively resistant to fungal diseases. The best variety for pickling. Plants require watering, weeding, loosening, and fertilization. Soil temperature for seed germination must not be lower than 15°C.
Planting Recommendations
Seeds are sown in open ground in late May–early June, when the soil temperature warms to +12…+15°C. It is recommended to soak or harden the seeds before sowing. After seedlings emerge, thin them out, leaving 15–20 cm between each shoot. Care consists of regular watering and weeding.
