Lakomka Corn
An early-maturing, high-yielding variety. Recommended for use fresh, boiled, and canned. Plant height: 170–190 cm. The cob is slightly conical in shape, 18–23 cm long, with 18–20 rows of kernels (juicy and sweet). The kernel skin is tender, with a yellow-orange color. The weight of a marketable ear is 250 g. The taste qualities of boiled and canned products are good. The kernels are a valuable dietary product, rich in vitamins, carbohydrates, and proteins.To extend the harvest period for fresh ears, corn should be sown 3–4 times at 10–15-day intervals.
Plants require watering, weeding, loosening the soil, and fertilization.
