Amager 611 - a popular, high-yielding, mid-season cabbage variety. The growing season, from the first sprouts to technical maturity, is 125-135 days. A hardy, frost-resistant, and high-yielding variety. The heads are medium-sized, weighing 2–4 kg, and are round or round-flat. They are dense and resistant to cracking. Yield is 5–7 kg/m². The heads can be stored for 5–6 months after harvest and retain excellent flavor throughout the entire storage period.
This cabbage variety is used for fresh consumption and canning. It is not recommended for sauerkraut immediately after harvest.
