Kazimir F1 is an early-maturing Almaz-type eggplant hybrid from Clause (France). The growing season lasts 55–60 days after transplanting seedlings to their permanent growing location. Suitable for growing in open ground and under plastic cover. The Kazimir F1 eggplant is characterized by high yield and resistance to gray mold. Tolerant to the Colorado potato beetle. It forms a vertical, open plant with a robust root system and good vigor, setting 4–6 fruits on the first tier. The fruits are cylindrical, dark purple in color, smooth, and without spines on the stem. Fruit length is 21–24 cm, diameter 6–7 cm, weight 250–300 g. The flesh is tender and firm, with small seeds. The fruits are recommended for home cooking and processing.

Cultivation Features

The hybrid can be grown by direct seeding into open ground or by the seedling method (without transplanting). Individual seedling containers should be filled with potting mix and seeds sown in them, buried 1 cm deep in the soil. After that, the containers with the seeds are covered with glass or plastic and placed in a warm room with a temperature of 27–30 °C. Once seedlings emerge, the cover is removed and the seedlings are kept at a lower temperature: 20–25 °C during the day and 15–17 °C at night. If necessary, supplemental lighting is provided using fluorescent lamps. During cultivation, the eggplant seedlings are watered generously once a week and fertilized with complex fertilizers. The seedlings are transplanted into open ground 65–70 days after germination. Optimal planting spacing: 70 × 40 cm.
