Detroit Beet is a mid-late, high-yielding variety with excellent market qualities, intended for outdoor cultivation. The growing season is 90–100 days. It is adaptable to various growing regions. Transplant into the soil in late April–early May. Plant according to a 30x60 cm spacing pattern, 2 cm deep, at a rate of 500,000 plants per hectare. Best suited for storage, processing, fresh consumption, and sale as bunched produce. Possesses a robust foliage and root system, enabling it to withstand drought and heat exceptionally well. The beets are round, uniform, and smooth, weighing 250 g. The flesh is a deep burgundy color without rings. Not prone to bolting. This variety is popular due to its high marketability and quality. A hardy and practical variety.
