The plant forms spreading bushes 40–60 cm tall with a large number of fleshy, triangular leaves of a rich green color. The leaves are juicy, tender in texture, and have a pleasant, fresh taste.
The variety is resistant to bolting and tolerates heat and drought well, ensuring the greens remain tender throughout the summer. New Zealand spinach is used fresh in salads, side dishes, soups, and sauces, as well as for freezing. It is a valuable dietary product, rich in vitamins and minerals.
