"Antey" pepper is a mid-season sweet variety. The plant is tall, reaching a height of about 60–75 cm, quite robust and spreading. The fruits are very large, weighing up to 200–300 grams. They have a conical-prismatic shape, and the wall thickness is approximately 6–9 mm. They turn light green during technical ripeness and become a rich dark red during biological ripeness. The fruit has excellent flavor. “Antey” is quite resistant to verticillium wilt. This variety has many advantages, including a consistent accumulation of ascorbic acid. This variety should only be grown from seedlings. To obtain produce for processing, 25–45-day-old seedlings should be planted. The recommended planting pattern depends largely on the irrigation method. The optimal number of "Antey" pepper plants is 65,000–70,000 plants per hectare. Yields can reach 65–75 tons per hectare.
