Luhansk Onion — a late-maturing variety with a growing season of 90–115 days from emergence to leaf lodging. Intended for long-term storage and fresh consumption. The bulbs are round, yellow in color, weighing 71–146 g, with a semi-sharp flavor. Marketable yield — 2.0–3.5 kg/m². Recommended for growing as a biennial crop from seed. It is grown over two seasons: first, the seeds (so-called "black seeds") are sown, and the following year they are transplanted to the beds to produce strong, healthy, and large bulbs. Growing seed onions from seed allows for inexpensive planting material.
