Golden Melon is a high-yielding, popular mid-season variety, maturing in 75–90 days. The fruits are round-oval, yellow in color, weighing 1–1.5 kg. The skin is smooth and shiny, orange, without any pattern. The flesh is white, thick, crisp, firm, and sweet with a strong aroma. Yield is 2–2.5 kg/m². The variety has high resistance to many diseases. It is transportable and drought-tolerant. Used fresh.
Transplant seedlings into the ground in late May at a temperature of 16°C to a depth of 3–4 cm; ripe Golden Melon fruits appear from late July through mid-August.
