Dido Melon is a mid-early, high-yielding variety with excellent taste. The growing season lasts 70–80 days. The plant forms strong vines with a large number of fruit set. The fruits are round-oval, weighing 2–3 kg, with yellow skin covered in a distinct net-like pattern. The flesh is white-cream, dense, very juicy, with a delicate aroma and sweet taste.
The variety is noted for its stable yield, uniform ripening, resistance to major diseases, and good transportability. The Didona melon is suitable for fresh consumption, as well as for preparing fruit salads, desserts, and juices.
