Sugar Peas - mid-season variety, with a growing season from germination to technical maturity of 60–70 days. The plant has a sturdy stem and produces up to 14 pods containing 8–10 seeds. The pods are dark green in color and 5–8 cm long. The variety is valued for the absence of a parchment layer in the pods, which allows the seeds to be eaten fresh along with the pods. Excellent flavor for fresh consumption, as well as for freezing and canning.
