Alfa Sugar Peas - an early-maturing vegetable shelling variety, maturing in 46–53 days from germination to technical maturity. The plant grows to a height of 50–70 cm; the flowers are white, with two per pedicel. The pods are dark green, 7–8 cm long, and contain 5–9 seeds each. The milk-ripe peas are dark green, tender, juicy, and sweet in taste, with a high content of sugars and vitamin C. Uniform ripening and high yield—0.4 kg/m². The crop is cold-hardy and can withstand light frosts. Used fresh and for canning.
