Matador, 160 ml – an insecticide for treating potato and vegetable planting material prior to planting in the soil against a complex of pests.

Active ingredient: imidacloprid, 200 g/L

Formulation: concentrate for seed treatment.

Spectrum of activity. Colorado potato beetle and its larvae, wireworms, false wireworms, May beetle larvae, aphids, thrips, moths, cutworms, flea beetles, and others.

Mode of action. Acts on the central nervous system by blocking the transmission of nerve impulses in pest organisms.

Efficacy. Re-treatment during the potato growing season is rarely performed, except in special cases (large pest populations, etc.).

Potatoes

30 ml per 400–500 ml of water per 30 kg of seed potatoes

Spread the planting material in a single layer and apply the working solution evenly using a sprayer, mix, allow the treated tubers to dry, and plant the tubers in the soil.

For consumers' information. Global experience with the use of a similar product:

10 ml per 1 L of water

Soak the root system of the seedlings in the working solution for 3–4 hours before planting them in the soil. Soak only the root system!

Recommendations for use. Use only high-quality planting material.

Preparation and application of the working solution. Shake the container with the product before preparation. Fill the sprayer tank 1/3 full with water, add the required amount of the product, stir, and top off the tank with water to full capacity. Apply immediately before planting the crop in the soil.

Maximum number of applications per season: 1. No waiting period is required between treatment and harvest, nor is there a restriction on workers entering treated areas.

Compatibility. Compatible with fungicides and growth regulators, except for alkaline ones.

Precautions. Eating, drinking, and smoking are strictly prohibited during work. Avoid contact of the product or its solution with the skin, eyes, or stomach.

Toxicity. VOC3 Class 3 classification.

First Aid. If vapors are inhaled, leave the work area and go out into fresh air. If the product comes into contact with: the skin—wash the affected areas with soap; the eyes—immediately rinse them with plenty of running water; if ingested—rinse the mouth with clean water, drink several glasses of water with activated charcoal, and induce vomiting. Repeat the procedure several times. Then drink a glass of water mixed with carbolic acid (4–5 tablets) or activated charcoal (2 tablespoons per glass of water) and take a laxative. Contact a doctor.

Storage requirements. Store in a closed, undamaged container in a well-ventilated, dry place, separate from food, cleaning products, medicines, and animal feed, at a temperature of 0–30 °C.
