Boric acid

Used as a fertilizer with fungicidal properties in the cultivation of agricultural crops. It increases yield, promotes higher sugar, vitamin C, and carotene content in fruits, and enhances flowering in flowering crops.

Directions for use:
Spray plants with a freshly prepared working solution of the product in dry, windless weather in the morning or evening, or during the day in cloudy but not rainy weather, ensuring uniform wetting of the leaves, in accordance with the table. The working solution is prepared by gradually adding water to the product while stirring continuously.
Use against ants: Mix 100 grams of water with 1 tablespoon of sugar, 1 teaspoon of honey, and 1 packet (20 grams) of boric acid. Then pour into small containers and place near ant nests.

Frequency of application:
White cabbage and cauliflower, potatoes, tomatoes: 2–3 times; other crops: 1–2 times. Can be used as a preventive measure.

To ensure the solution is distributed evenly without forming large droplets, it is advisable to use sprayers that produce a fine mist.

When treating potato tubers before planting, use 10 grams per 10 L of water. 1 L per 25 kg.

When sowing seeds, apply 2–3 grams per 1 m of furrow; when planting seedlings, apply 1 gram per hole, mixing it with the soil.

Hazard class: Boric acid belongs to the lowest, 4th hazard class of hazardous substances. It is not harmful to humans if it comes into contact with the skin, but it can accumulate in the body, as boron is slowly excreted by the kidneys. It is not phytotoxic.
