Entocid (metarhizine), 400 g

A product for protecting plants from soil pests. The formulation contains a high concentration of mycelium and spores of the fungus Metarhizium anisopliae, which are entomopathogenic to a number of harmful soil insects. A soil insecticide of biological origin, used to control mole crickets, wireworms, and the larvae of May beetles and Colorado potato beetles in all types of agricultural crops. The active ingredient consists of spores and mycelium of entomopathogenic fungi, which, upon contact with a pest, paralyze its nervous system within 12 hours, causing the insects to stop feeding on plants, die, and become sources for the growth of these same fungi.

Features:
While in the soil, the fungus remains in an active state, awaiting contact with a pest; upon contact, it infects the pest’s fatty tissues, intestinal tract, respiratory organs, and nervous system. The fungus spores begin to germinate after 12 hours. Death occurs within 40–120 hours, depending on the larva’s age, with the fungus using the larva for further development.
With regular application of the soil pest control product Entocid (Metarizin), the population of mole crickets, Colorado potato beetles, wireworms, and other harmful insect larvae is significantly reduced. Incidentally, these pests can cause disease or the death of fruit and berry crops, as they damage the root systems of plants, especially those that bear sweet fruits.
The product can be used to soak seeds, treat the roots of seedlings, and apply to the soil. In areas infested with harmful insects, it is recommended to apply the treatment in the spring or fall before digging. The greatest effect is achieved when the product is applied to moist soil. Purpose:
Effective against the following pests: mole crickets, wireworms, May beetle larvae and adults, and Colorado potato beetles.

Directions for use:
100 grams per 100 square meters. Mix 100 grams of the product with 1–2 kg of a carrier (sand or sifted soil). Spread the resulting mixture evenly over an area of 100 m². Apply the product immediately before spring or fall soil preparation.
Soaking seeds (1–3 days before sowing): 50 grams / 1.5–3 liters of water. Soak the seeds in the solution. This should be done in a darkened area, avoiding direct sunlight.
Soaking seedlings and saplings. 50 grams / 1.5 L – 3 L of water
Soaking the roots of seedlings or saplings. Treatment with irrigation water for saplings is possible.
Recommendations for use: Shake well before use.

Precautions: If the product comes into contact with the skin or eyes, rinse thoroughly with water.
