Ampligo is a new-generation insecticide developed by Syngenta that offers a broad spectrum of activity. It provides dual protection against pests, particularly scale insects, and also protects against sucking and secondary pests. This product is unique in that it prevents the development of resistance in pests, making it extremely effective and reliable for long-term use.

The product contains two active ingredients: chlorantraniliprole (100 g/L) and lambda-cyhalothrin (50 g/L), which have different modes of action:

• Chlorantraniliprole blocks the central nervous system of pests, leading to their paralysis and death.
• Lambda-cyhalothrin disrupts muscle function, which also contributes to the rapid elimination of pests.

The insecticide is manufactured using ZEON technology, which involves a microencapsulated suspension offering a number of advantages:

• The small size of the capsules (3–5 μm) ensures better coverage and adhesion to the leaves.
• The technology significantly extends the protection period.
• The product maintains high efficacy at various temperatures.

Ampligo has an ovicidal effect, meaning it kills pest eggs. Once it comes into contact with an egg, the product penetrates its shell and kills the pest at the larval stage.
