Alfos fumigant for controlling storage pests
Alfos fumigant, manufactured in tablet form, is used in the private sector to disinfect grain stocks against pests. Upon contact with moist air, this product releases phosphine gas, which enters the pests’ respiratory system, disrupts metabolic processes, and blocks oxygen uptake. The tablets are placed directly on the grain during storage; the active period lasts 14 days.
