Actofit is a new generation of plant protection products that successfully combines high efficacy, high selectivity, ultra-low application rates of the active ingredient (from 0.4 to 4.0 g/ha), and mild sanitary, hygienic, and environmental characteristics (based on acute toxicity parameters, Actofit is classified as hazard class 4).

Actofit is safe for humans and other warm-blooded animals.

Actofit is a contact and stomach poison, but it also has a negative effect on egg-laying. The insects hatching from these eggs are stunted, which quickly leads to the eradication of even such hard-to-eradicate populations as herbivorous mites.

Actofit controls the vast majority of pests in vegetable plantations, orchards, gardens, and vineyards. A single product can provide primary protection against pests. No resistance to the product has been observed. Twenty-eight consecutive treatments of herbivorous mites using only Actofit did not result in resistance to this product.

Mechanism of action of Actofit.

The product is highly effective against a range of pests in open and protected ground: herbivorous mites, Colorado potato beetles, other leaf-feeding coleoptera, larvae of lepidoptera and sawflies, aphids, thrips, and certain species of leaf-mining pests. The active ingredient of the product is a complex of natural avermectins produced by the soil fungus Streptomyces avermitilis. Avermectins are natural, highly specific neurotoxins that, in microdoses, penetrate the bodies of arthropod pests via the gut or by contact, irreversibly damaging their nervous system.

Unlike most insecticides, which break down rapidly due to high air temperatures and, even more so, sunlight, Actofit works significantly more effectively under high temperatures. This allows for a 30% reduction in the application rate at temperatures of 25 degrees Celsius and above without any loss of effectiveness.

The uniqueness of Actofit.

Virtually the only insecticide that can protect houseplants from pests without removing them from the living room.
Bathing pets in a solution of the product will rid them of blood-sucking insects and skin parasites. Licking their fur after such a bath will not harm the animal but will eliminate many worms.

As a biological product, in a non-sterile environment, Actofit breaks down within hours by microorganisms into natural products found in the environment. However, in its original factory packaging, it retains its properties for at least two years, unaffected by freezing temperatures in winter or hot air in storage facilities during the summer.

Actofit can be applied during the harvest period on vegetable and fruit and berry crops. The last treatment should be performed 48 hours before harvest.
