Gesagard 100 ml

A systemic selective herbicide, intended for the protection of potatoes, vegetables, industrial crops, and other crops against annual dicotyledonous and grass weeds. The Gezagard herbicide completely breaks down in the soil during the growing season; and when it comes into contact with the plant, the active ingredient penetrates through the leaves and other green parts of the plant, destroying the plant along with its roots. Absorption of the herbicide occurs during the seedling stage, leading to their death even before emergence. The duration of protection is 35–45 days, depending on weather conditions.

Active ingredient: promethrin, 500 g/L.

Waiting period from the last application to harvest: carrots – 45 days, potatoes – 30 days, other crops – no waiting period specified.

Maximum number of applications: 1.

Conditions of use:

Depending on the extent of weed infestation, measure out the required amount of the product and dilute it in 5–10 liters of water. The best results are achieved when using up to 5 liters of working solution per 100 square meters. Spraying should be carried out with a freshly prepared solution in calm weather on thoroughly prepared soil. Weeding or loosening the soil between rows after applying the herbicide is not recommended, as this reduces the herbicidal effect.

Spraying time:

• potatoes - soil spraying after planting or after ridge formation until crop emergence;
• carrots - soil spraying before sowing, emergence, or during the two-true-leaf stage of the crop;
• peas, sunflowers - spray after sowing until crop emergence.
