Achiba 60 ml

Quantity
Full description

Achiba® - a highly effective post-emergence broadleaf herbicide that is selective for virtually all broadleaf crops. The product is characterized by an extremely mild effect on the crop and is effective in controlling volunteer plants from previous cereal crops.

Active ingredient: haloxyfop-P-ethyl, 50 g/L.

Formulation: emulsifiable concentrate.

Mode of action: Achiba® is a systemic herbicide whose active ingredient accumulates in both the aboveground and underground parts of grass weeds (rhizomes, underground shoots). The active ingredient disrupts fatty acid synthesis at growth points. As a result, weeds stop growing within a few hours of application, and the first visual signs of the herbicide’s action can be observed after two days: the central shoot can be easily pulled out and has a characteristic yellowish color. Complete weed death occurs after 7–10 days (for annuals) and after 14–20 days (for perennials). Regrowth of weeds is impossible. The active ingredient of the herbicide breaks down rapidly in the soil (the half-life is 7 days), and therefore the product does not affect subsequent crops in the crop rotation.

*When used on soybeans at a rate exceeding 20 ml/100 m², visual discoloration in the form of light spots may occur, but this does not have a negative impact on yield.

Spectrum of activity:

Annual grasses: mouse-ear (species), millet (species), flat-headed grass, foxtail, brome, common oatgrass, canary grass, barnyard grass, green bristlegrass, bloodgrass, foxtail, annual bluegrass, volunteer cereals, brome (VIDI), wild radish, and others;

Perennial grasses: creeping wheatgrass, pigweed, gumweed, white field grass, common bluegrass, branched bluegrass, common reed, fescue, Aleppo sorghum, and others.

Advantages:

  • Gentle effect on the crop.
  • Rapid penetration into weeds.
  • Prevents weed regrowth.
  • Highly effective against volunteer cereals.
  • Safe for crop rotation.

Explanations and precautions: The herbicide “Achiba”® is used against annual grass weeds—from the 2–4 leaf stage to the tillering stage—and against perennial weeds when the weed height is 10 cm up to the booting stage, regardless of the crop’s growth stage. The product is not effective against dicotyledonous (broadleaf) weeds. Non-toxic to bees. The most favorable time for application is in the morning or evening. To achieve maximum efficacy, ensure sufficient and uniform coverage of the aboveground parts of the plants. It is not recommended to treat crops with the herbicide under unstable weather conditions or when they are damaged by insects. At high ambient temperatures and during drought, we recommend using a stickiness agent.

Procedure for preparing the working solution: Fill the sprayer tank halfway with clean water. Add the required amount of the product, depending on the application type (see table), and continue mixing while adding the remaining water. Stir the solution thoroughly before use. After spraying, thoroughly rinse the sprayer and nozzles under running water.

Safety precautions: Class 3 hazardous product. Do not eat, drink, or smoke while working. Use personal protective equipment. Wash hands and face with soap after work.

First Aid: If the product comes into contact with the skin, remove contaminated clothing, wipe off any residue without rubbing, and wash the skin with warm water and soap or a weak soda solution. After providing first aid, seek medical attention immediately and show the product label to the doctor.

Storage recommendations: Store in a tightly closed original container with the label in a dry, cool room designated for pesticide storage. Keep out of reach of children, away from food, feed, and medicines. Optimal storage temperature: 0 to +25°C.

Shelf life: 5 years from the date of manufacture. The date of manufacture is indicated on the packaging.

We guarantee the excellent quality and effectiveness of the product; however, we cannot be held responsible for its improper use or storage.
