Fundazim 10 g

Full description

Fundazim, 10 g - a highly effective, multifunctional systemic fungicide against a wide range of diseases for the protection of agricultural crops and landscape plantings. Intended for treating growing plants and seed material. Effectively suppresses the development of a wide range of fungal plant diseases, especially powdery mildew on vegetable crops and in orchards, as well as during storage, transportation, and seed treatment. Widely used to protect against snow mold, rot, powdery mildew, various leaf spots, cercosporosis, and clubroot.

Active ingredient: benomyl 500 g/kg

Formulation: wettable powder

Spectrum of activity: powdery mildew, cercosporosis, scab, fusarium wilt, clubroot, snow mold

Crop: roses, gooseberries, currants, cabbage, bulbous flowers, lawn grasses, cereal crops

Mode of action: benomyl is absorbed by the roots, stems, and leaves of the crop, breaking down in plant tissues into benzimidazolylcarbamate and moving acropetally through the plant’s xylem. Over the course of 3 days, the fungicide exhibits a curative effect, which involves the active ingredient disrupting the respiratory processes and nuclear division of the fungal cell, leading to the inhibition of the pathogen’s reproductive function. Over the next 7–10 days, the product’s protective effect is observed, preventing fungal penetration into plant tissues at an early stage of pathogenesis by inhibiting the enzyme cutinase.

Description and application features: the product has a broad spectrum of protective action against most fungal pathogens. In addition to its therapeutic properties, Funzazim promotes plant health. Thanks to its systemic action, the product is resistant to rain wash-off and has a prolonged period of protective action. Treatment (spraying plants and watering the soil) is carried out under favorable weather conditions (no wind, air temperature not exceeding +25 °C). During treatment, ensure uniform coverage of the solution on the leaves and stems of the plants without runoff from the treated surface. Minimum application rates are used at the beginning of the growing season and under low infection pressure; maximum rates are used when the foliage is fully developed and infection pressure is high.

Before spraying roses, dissolve 15–20 g of the product in 8–10 L of clean water and mix thoroughly. Use the working solution on the day it is prepared, as prolonged storage causes the product to lose its properties, leading to reduced effectiveness against diseases.  The product is also used to treat all types of flowers, bulbous plants, and fruit and berry shrubs. Instructions for preparing the working solution are provided on the product packaging.

The maximum number of treatments per season is 3. The interval between treatments under low infection pressure is 10–14 days. The waiting period before people may enter treated areas for manual work is 7 days; for mechanized work, it is 3 days.
