White Patty 13" is a mid-season variety for open ground, entering fruiting on days 65–86.
The plant is a bushy, heavily branched bush with a convex central part and serrated edges, sharply segmented and pale green. The fruit is disc-shaped with serrated edges, weighing 0.4–0.5 kg. The color at technical maturity is light salad green; at biological maturity, it is white. The rind is thin, and the flesh is white and firm. The fruits are suitable for all types of home cooking; when young, they are suitable for whole-fruit canning. They taste similar to zucchini but differ in their unique shape.
Yield: 3–4 kg/m². The variety is disease-resistant.
Sowing: carried out once the threat of spring frosts has passed. The planting pattern is a square-nesting system at 70x70 cm. Seed planting depth is 5–6 cm in light soils and 3–4 cm in heavy soils. To obtain an early harvest, potted seedlings are used. Seeds are sown in pots in late April–early May. Seedlings are transplanted into the ground in early June into holes 10–12 cm deep, with the soil level no higher than the cotyledon leaves.
Care: Weeding and loosening the soil are performed during the growing season.
