Bird netting for plant protection, packaged 8 m x 5 m

Pre-cut polymer netting for protecting plants from birds, 8 m * 5 m - designed for: protecting gardens and vegetable patches, shrubs, sweet cherries, cherries, vineyards, strawberry and berry growing areas, vegetable plantations, and any other crops whose fruits attract birds, from the damage they may cause. The diamond-shaped mesh is inconspicuous and easy to install in any configuration. Lightweight and durable, it does not bend or break branches. It blocks birds’ access to the fruit. The mesh’s strong threads withstand attacks from virtually all flocking birds (starlings, sparrows, crows) found in Ukraine. The polyethylene mesh contains a protective stabilizer against the sun’s ultraviolet rays, ensuring a service life of at least two seasons. The optimal mesh size allows air and sunlight to reach the plants and does not interfere with spraying or pollination by insects. Easy to install.

Net installation:

Stretch the net in all four directions to level it. Using a stepladder and a T-shaped pole, drape the net over a tree or bushes. Tie the hanging ends of the net together at the bottom with twine so that birds cannot crawl under the net. If the net is not long enough, its sections can be joined together with twine. Remove the net from the tree before harvesting. If not all the fruit has been harvested, the net must be reinstalled and secured again. Remove the netting after the harvest is complete. Fold the netting and roll it up. If there are any tears or holes, tie them up with thread. The netting can last for several seasons if used carefully.

We recommend placing the netting over strawberries and other berry crops using standard greenhouse arches for spring mini-greenhouses.
It is advisable to tie the netting around the tree trunk to prevent birds from accidentally or intentionally getting trapped.
